Welcome to the 1998 - 2001 Sketchbook. This section is home to the few worthy sketches from my older sketchbooks and various loose pieces of printer paper pilfered from various office jobs. In these years, I spent a lot of time experimenting with different styles, drawing a lot of super heroes (none of which made the cut), and incorporating manga elements such as big eyes and skimpy mettalic outfits into my characters -- thankfully these elements have become more subdued over the years, though my eyes still tend to be slightly oversized. Most of the sketches here are based on my old AD&D campaign world of Lanthia and the resultant characters, NPCs, and monsters. |
